What the app collects, and what it does not.
The Quiet Hour does not ask for your name, email, or contact information, and does not sell personal data. Almost everything the game knows about you stays on your device. The exceptions are the ad and purchase systems, which are run by Google and Apple under their own policies.
Your progress — the season record, verdicts, collected evidence, conversation transcripts, the shift clock and whether you own the pass — is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework. It is not transmitted to any server we operate. Deleting the app removes it.
The game includes a rewarded-video ad: watching one puts you back on the clock when your shift ends. This is powered by Google's AdMob SDK, which may collect device identifiers and ad-interaction data in order to serve and measure ads, under Google's privacy policy and how Google uses data in Mobile Ads.
To be straight about it: when the shift clock runs out, continuing requires either watching an ad or buying the pass. If no ad is available to show you, the game gives you the time free rather than blocking you.
The game offers one optional, one-time purchase that removes the ad and exempts you from the shift gate permanently. It is processed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. We never receive or store your payment information — Apple handles that under its own policy.
No purchase or advertisement ever unlocks story content, clues, or evidence. They affect playing time only. That is a design commitment, not just a policy statement.
The Quiet Hour is a crime and psychological-thriller game with mature themes and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or the relevant age of digital consent in your region.
